About DYN
The Downland Youth Network (DYN) is a voluntary group that was set up in 2002 by Parish Councillors and other people based in some of the Downland Villages in West Berkshire to address the issues of rural social exclusion for children and young people. Following extensive consultation with young people at the Downs School in 2003 and the making of the ‘Sort It Out’ video by 30 children and young people based in the rural villages, DYN identified three areas of need.
1. More activities for young people in the rural villages. 2. Access to transport facilities 3. Access to information
As a result DYN set up three projects in 2003 For more information about the work of DYN - contact Mo Brickwood on brick.wood@virgin.net
